A Kaleidoscope of Experiences: Four Days at Kalanjoor School

A Memorable School Induction Experience at Government School, Kalanjoor

From October 7th to 10th, I had the wonderful opportunity to be part of a school induction program at Government School, Kalanjoor. These four days were a blend of excitement, learning, and meaningful engagement with students, offering a glimpse into the vibrant world of teaching and school activities.

Day 1: A Colorful Beginning

The first day was filled with energy and excitement as I got the chance to interact with students and get to know them better. I supervised a drawing and painting competition, witnessing the creativity and enthusiasm of young artists. It was a delightful start, setting a positive tone for the days ahead.

Day 2: School Kalolsavam Preparations

On the second day, the school came alive with the vibrant spirit of the School Kalolsavam. I assisted students in getting ready for their performances, helping them with costumes and last-minute preparations. The highlight of the day was the dance programs, showcasing the talent and dedication of the participants.

Day 3: Music and Oratory Take the Stage

The third day of the Kalolsavam brought the school alive with melodious tunes and inspiring speeches. Students competed in musical and oratory programs, displaying their skills and confidence. My role involved ensuring the smooth conduct of events and supporting students as they shone in their performances.

Day 4: Teaching and Evaluating

The final day was particularly special, as I got to take a class for 9C, delivering a lesson that engaged and inspired the students. I also had the opportunity to interact with other classes, making the day fulfilling and memorable. Additionally, I was tasked with grading the NAAT exams for the 9th standard, which offered insight into the evaluation process and student assessment.

Reflections on the Experience

The four days at Government School, Kalanjoor, were an enriching experience, offering a blend of creative, cultural, and academic activities. Interacting with students, witnessing their talents, and taking on teaching and administrative responsibilities provided valuable lessons for my journey as an educator.

This induction program was more than just an internship; it was a chance to connect, learn, and grow. The energy and enthusiasm of the students and the vibrant school environment made it an experience I will cherish forever.
